Sydney Sweeney's 'Immaculate' Sets Record

Immaculate set a new record for Neon earning $5.3 million in the opening weekend

Sydney Sweeney's latest film, "Immaculate," has broken records for indie production and distribution company Neon. The religious horror movie, which stars and is produced by the talented Euphoria actress, earned an impressive $5.3 million domestically during its opening weekend. This surpassed previous record holders Ferrari, It Lives Inside, Infinity Pool, and Spencer.

While Parasite remains Neon's biggest movie worldwide with a whopping $253 million, Immaculate has secured the company's biggest opening weekend in the US. Sweeney played a key role in saving the film and it being released via her production company. 

With a 70% current score on Rotten Tomatoes, it has been pretty well-received by audiences. You can watch the trailer on Youtube to see if it peeks your interest.
