Terrifier 3 Excels at the Box Office on Opening Weekend
I am sure many of you have either already watched Terrifier 3 or are planning to watch it soon, and so far, it has been a very positive opening weekend for director Damien Leone and Art The Clown.
The film has taken an approx $18 million in North America and considering the film had a rumoured budget of just $2 million, that is a massive success for the film and franchise as a whole, with Damien Leon already teasing that we will have a 4th and 5th entry in the Terrifier franchise.
And with this type of money being made, who knows how many more times we will see Art and his antics, as fans will obviously want more after this success.

The world premiere of Terrifier 3 is going to be happening soon, and will be shown at Fantastic Fest on the opening night for those lucky enough to be going, ahead of the official release on October 11th.
I'm not jealous at all, honest.

So it's not long now until the release of Terrifer 3, which you get to see on October 11th, and below you can see a new image of Art The Clown has been released.
Casting Details For Terrifier 3
So we have some new casting details about the upcoming Terrifier 3 and that is Lost Boys actor Jason Patric has joined the cast!
Director Damien Leone had this to say:
To say it’s an honor and a privilege having Jason on board is an understatement.
He’s one of the best actors of his generation and has a deep respect for this franchise and his craft which is why I’m thrilled for fans to see his pivotal role in the Terrifier universe.”
It’s not every day I get to work with the star of some of my favorite films (if you know me, you know how I feel about The Lost Boys in particular), so this has been a dream come true and a very exciting collaboration, to say the least.
Release Date Has Been Changed
Following on from what was written originally below, it has recently been announced that the release date for Terrifier 3 has changed from October 25th to October 11th in USA. No word yet on the UK release which is still set at the original October 25th.

Terrifier 3 Will Be Even More Terryfying - Watch The Official Trailer
According to director Damien Leone, Terrifier 3 will be the most, um, terrifying film in the franchise. Filming has been underway for the highly anticipated movie, which promises to raise the bar even further on Art the Clown's gruesome exploits. This time, fans will get to see what he gets up to during Christmas.
The trailer features a child waking up during Christmas night and going downstairs to see the villain poking under the tree. The movie will see the return of David Howard Thornton as Art, Lauren and LaVera as Sienna. Chris Jericho, who had a cameo in Terrifier 2, is also set to appear again.
Leone gave fans an update on the movie, revealing that they just filmed one of the most insanely horrific scenes of the franchise. He also teased that fans will never believe who couldn't handle it on set, and that the behind-the-scenes footage is hilarious. [Terrifier 3 on IMDB]
