The sequel to one of the worst horror movies of 2023, if not all time, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey has actually gained quite a few positive reactions.
Released on March 26, the follow-up has an 53% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and 6.3 rating on IMDB, as of time of writing.
The sequel follows the monstrous reimaginings of Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger, who break out of the shadows and wreak havoc on a nearby town, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake.
The story follows from last year's original which saw Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet transform into feral and bloodthirsty beasts and terrorize Christopher Robin at a creepy remote house.
I am sure no-one was expecting too much from the sequel, and has probably surprised many, including myself.
The first movie, which was released in January 2023, currently sits at a measly 3% on RT and 2.9 on IMDB.
But the sequel has received some better reviews so far, with an 54% audience score.
Still early days and a small review sample size, but Winne the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, might actually be worth a watch!
