At least it is now official, eh?

And you can ready my review of 2019's Ready or Not as well, if you want to!

Samara Weaving is on Board For Ready or Not 2

It looks like Samara Weaving is going to be all in for Ready or Not 2. The star, who will be starring in Azrael when it is released in September, recently spoke to ComicBook and had this to say.

I’m all in. I think we’re all in, I don’t know. I think we’re all in. I don’t know if we’ve had our blood handshake, but pretty much. We’ve done the spit handshake, but we haven’t cut each other’s hands and rubbed our blood together.

Ready or Not Is Getting A Sequel

It appears that a beloved horror movie from the past decade may be receiving a sequel.

The talented team at Radio Silence, consisting of Directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, along with Producer Chad Villella, have disclosed that they have been diligently working on a follow-up to Ready or Not since 2019.

Speaking to EW,  Gillet had this to say.

“It’s getting figured out, That’s what we’ll say: Ready or Not 2 is getting figured out. What we can say is that there is a script that is an absolute f—ing banger of a sequel. And however it gets made, and in whatever capacity we are helping get it made, we are so excited that it’s happening. That movie is truly the love of our creative lives in a lot of ways.”

Ready or Not, released in 2019, featured an all-star cast including Samara Weaving, Adam Brody, Mark O'Brien, Elyse Levesque, Nicky Guadagni, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell

The movie grossed $57.6 million on a $6 million budget and followed a young bride as she participates in a time-honored tradition with her new husband's wealthy, eccentric family, which quickly turns into a deadly game where everyone fights for their survival.
