A new trailer for the upcoming horror movie, The Watchers has been released. Directed by Ishana Shyamlan, daughter of renowned filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan, this fantasy horror narrative follows a young artist stranded in an Irish forest. Seeking refuge, she finds herself trapped with three strangers, haunted by the creatures lurking in the darkness.
Dakota Fanning takes the lead as Mina, a 28-year-old artist who finds herself stranded in the forest in West Ireland. Joining Fanning is Olwen Fouéré and Georgina Campbell. The film is an adaptation of the novel by Irish author A.M. Shine.
Although The Watchers marks Ishana Shyamalan's debut as a filmmaker, she brings with her some experience of directing, having previously overseen numerous episodes of the Apple TV Plus original series Servant, where she also served as a writer and producer.
The film is set to release on June 14th 2024.
