The upcoming psychological horror film produced by Jordan Peele, set in the world of football, has unveiled its official title—Him—and a release date of September 19, 2025, in theaters. Directed by Justin Tipping, the movie features Marlon Wayans as a legendary quarterback who is responsible for coaching a promising young athlete, played by Tyriq Withers, at the retired athlete's secluded compound.
From Oscar® winner Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions, producers of the landmark horror films Get Out, Us, Candyman and Nope, comes a blood-chilling journey into the inner sanctum of fame, power and the pursuit of excellence at any cost.
Peele emerged as a director with the acclaimed psychological horror film Get Out, which became a big commercial success for Universal Studios. Since then, he has directed or produced three additional films for the studio through Monkeypaw Productions: Us, Candyman, and Nope.
Similar to Get Out, which exposed themes of racism, Him is anticipated to take audiences on a exploration of the dark side of fame, power, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. [Him on IMDB]
