Halle Berry Reveals Sequel and Prequel Plans
So it seems we haven't seen the last of Halle Berry starring in Never Let Go, as it looks like it could well become a franchise.
Speaking to ComicBook, Halle Berry and her co-stars Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins, were asked about potential sequels.
No matter the case, Berry revealed that "We have stories figured out – we have a prequel and sequels figured out." It's pretty safe to assume that the financial success of the film will impact its future as a horror franchise, but it is exciting to hear that expanding the Never Let Go world has always been the goal, especially since the story leaves the door open for the cast's return.

Halle Berry To Star in Never Let Go - Watch The Trailer
Halle Berry is going to star in an upcoming horror movie titled 'Never Let Go' where she plays a single mother trying to protect her kids from mysterious creatures—or is she?
Directed by Alexandre Aja, known for The Hills Have Eyes, the movie follows Berry's character and her twin sons, played by Percy Daggs and Anthony B. Jenkins, as they navigate a strange, apocalyptic world. According to the official synopsis, they must stay connected at all times, even using ropes to stay together. But when one of the boys doubts the reality of the danger, their bond is tested, leading to a struggle for survival.
While this does sound like a straightforward monster movie (the team has been understandably secretive about the nature of the evil), there's a clear metaphor at work. The movie's theme is about generational trauma, Berry told Entertainment Weekly. That's one of the aspects that attracted both [Aja] and me to this film.
The trailer, which you can watch below, feels a bit like A Quiet Place. You see Berry’s character leading her kids into the woods, all tied together by a rope to ensure no one gets lost, and some strange hands that occasionally reach out to grab them.
Looks interesting! The movie is set to release on September 27th. [Never Let Go on IMDB]
