Horror Movie Blog > Horror Movie News > Hell of a Summer Acquired By Neon
After a strong 2024 with the likes of LongLegs, MaXXXine and Cuckoo, they are already planning to top that and smash 2025.
Having already recently announced The Presence and Monkey Man to both release early next year, they have now got the rights to horror comedy Hell Of A Summer.
Written, directed and starring both Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk, Hell of a Summer is about a 24-year-old camp counselor named Jason Hochberg who arrives at Camp Pineway, worried that he doesn't fit in with his younger coworkers.
But what Jason doesn't realize is that there's a masked killer on the loose, and the counselors are being hunted down one by one.
The film cast will also include Fred Hechinger, Abby Quinn and Adam Pally.
Having premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, Neon will be releasing this movie in 2025 but no official date has been set yet.
I will update this page as more information arrives. [Hell of a Summer on IMDB]
