Anna Kendrick's upcoming film Woman of the Hour is coming to Netflix on October 18th, and a first teaser trailer has been released, which you can watch below.

This horror-thriller marks Kendrick's first time as a director, which she also stars in, and tells the true story of Rodney Alcala, a serial killer who shockingly appeared on a dating show in the 1970s while in the middle of his crime spree. 

Daniel Zovatto plays Alcala, and Kendrick portrays Cheryl Bradshaw, a contestant on The Dating Game who unwittingly went on a date with him after the show.

Woman of the Hour has already received strong reviews from pre release reviews and currently sits at 6.9 on IMDB and 90% on RT.

After the disappointment of Under Paris and The Deliverance on Netflix this year, this one looks a lot more promising.
