XYZ Films have announced that their new movie, Falling Stars is going to hit select theaters and be available to stream on October 11th, 2024.
The film is a supernatural horror thriller from rising filmmakers Richard Karpala and Gabriel Bienczycki, and features an original script by Karpala and cinematography by Bienczycki.
It stars Rene Leech, Shaun Duke Jr, Andrew Gabriel, Diane Worman, and Greg Poppa.
What's Falling Stars About?
Falling Stars is a folk horror film that re-imagines the classic witch legend.
In an alternate world where witches are real, a yearly harvest ritual is performed to keep them at bay, but for three brothers in the American Southwest, this year takes a dark turn.
They discover their friend has killed and buried a witch, and when they go to see for themselves, they accidentally disturb the body.
This unleashes a curse on their family, and now they must burn the witch’s corpse before sunrise to stop it.
