Release Date Update
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Scott Chambers shared an update on the release of Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble, indicating he hopes the film will still release around Halloween, but that could be changed.
I very much plan on shooting this summer, and it just depends. If we're able to turn it around and release it for the Halloween period of 2025, I will definitely do that. I don't want to rush it because I'm aware that the fans of this stuff that we are doing, their expectations are quite high. So I don't want to just smash it out and that everyone's disappointed. I am going to take time with it, but I never work slow anyway. I'm not used to doing that. So you'll get it quick.I feel like at the moment where we stand, the time period for this coming out would be like Halloween 2025. But if we miss that, it'll probably be the first quarter of 2026, so it won't be far off it.
Scott Chambers Speaks
In an interview with ComicBook, writer-director-star Scott Chambers revealed some more details regarding Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble, and it looks like we are going to be in for a wild ride, including Mary Popping as a kiddy snatcher.
Yes, you read that right.
I’ve not really spoken much about this yet, but Mary Poppins will be in it, and she’s going to be a kiddy snatcher as well. So I’m sure her and Peter Pan are going to get on like a house on fire. And then there’s also the Mad Hatter. I think those three are going to be the worst of the worst. We’ve introduced Peter and later down the line we will introduce the other two in their own films. It’s going to be wild and I want to kill a lot of characters in it, and I want it to be nasty. Anyone you get attached to and you’re getting fond of, don’t trust that they’re going to survive. As a storyteller, I don’t like stuff where no one dies and there’s no stakes. These introductory films, do not think Wendy will survive it, or Christopher Robin will survive it. None of them are safe. And I think that it’s fun to do that. So, I think there will not be many survivors. And that’s with the villains as well, so it’ll be fun.

Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble Release Date
The official release date right now for the film is Octobers 31st, 2025.
The film is set to feature character a lot of beloved childhood characters being turned into villains (mostly) such as Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and Mad Hatter.
The idea for the Twisted Childhood Universe came from the surprise success of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey in 2023, and despite mixed reviews, the movie gained huge online buzz and ending up earning an estimated $7.7 million worldwide from a $100,000 budget.
The sequel, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, improved on the first movie but made $7.6 million on a bigger $500,000 budget, but encouraged by profit margins, Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Jagged Edge Productions announced the creation of the Twisted Childhood Universe and also revealed plans for several films, including Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, and Pinocchio: Unstrung.
I will keep this page updated with news regarding the film as and when it arrives.
